I am a Central Coast photographer, a lover of weddings, and a quiet storyteller behind the lens

It’s nice to meet you! Along with being a wedding and lifestyle photographer, I’m also a wife and a mother. Most days you can find me in sweat pants with messy hair working from bed as my daughter and our golden doodle turn our cozy apartment into a happy mess. When I’m not shooting or editing, I still want to be outdoors on small adventures with my family. I believe in making days count, keeping it real, meeting new people, and singing at the top of your lungs with the radio up and the windows down.

WHAT BROUGHT YOU  TO  nyc ?

Life is too short to not follow your dreams, and Lyle’s dream has always been to be a writer in the film industry. His passion for storytelling is all-comsuming. So when he told me that he wanted to switch from filling out law school applications to making a movie that summer and applying to film schools, all I could do was encourage him to follow his passion. It wasn’t an easy decision, especially considering that I was three-months pregnant at the time, but I believed him.

So I wasn’t all that surprised when he was accepted into Columbia University’s graduate film school, though I was a little overwhelmed about moving to New York City. We both grew up in the same small-town in California, but New York had always been a place we had imagined living, though just maybe never with an infant and a 70 lbs. Goldendoodle. But we sold what we couldn’t take with us, bought a tiny apartment in Manhattan, and all moved out to the Big Apple just six months after Nora was born.

Kacie is my second shooter, close friend, and Amber Lynn Photography associate wedding photographer. We clicked the first time we worked together, and I still lean on her calm eye when timelines get full. We have shared dozens of wedding weekends side by side, and I could not ask for a kinder creative partner.  

As an associate photographer, Kacie can lead your wedding day with grace, style, and real FUN if I am already booked. You still receive the full Amber Lynn Photography experience: shared planning calls, the same questionnaires, and the same gentle timeline coaching so nothing important slips through the cracks.  

She is wildly talented, quick with a joke, and easy for guests to trust. She is the ramen to my noodle, and I hand her the camera knowing your love story will still feel honest, soft, and full of motion.  

With our associate photography package, every frame still comes home to my desk for editing so the color, grain, and pacing stay consistent with ALP style: soft, romantic, and timeless. Rest assured you are in good hands, and we cannot wait for you to meet Kacie!
